Encourage innovation in U.S. AI and supplier industries: ICT, chips, and energy. Strengthen export controls to protect what U.S. companies have already invented. Secure frontier AI labs to protect what U.S. companies are currently inventing. Increase communication, understanding, and cooperation between U.S. companies and the U.S. government.

Protect American Tech Security

Educate national and state policymakers about AI, including by "translating" the views of industrialists and ethicists. Accelerate U.S. government adoption of AI. Strengthen U.S. lab, cyber, and other security. Deepen U.S. democratic tech alliances, including but not limited to Australia, Canada, Finland, India, Israel, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Taiwan, Sweden, South Korea, and the UK.

Promote Human-Centered AI 

In the scientific realm, advance AI alignment, including by exploring the promise of brain-inspired AI. In the philosophical realm, engage with academic, ethics, and faith communities to distill principles about human dignity, integrity, and freedom, then socialize them with government, industry, and other stakeholders.
