Executive Director
Meredith Potter
Meredith Potter leads the American Security Fund and the American Security Foundation - together, "ASF" - by connecting industry, government, and ethics, encouraging them to collaborate to invest in AI security, safety, and alignment. She came to ASF from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), where she sought to accelerate U.S. investment in digital infrastructure, including by negotiating and operationalizing strategic partnerships with Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. Her focuses – emerging technologies, particularly AI; U.S. competitiveness; Indo-Pacific security; global stability; and China’s impacts on all four – are the results of her relationship with Henry Kissinger, whose research, writing, and continued involvement in foreign policymaking she facilitated for more than six years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she helped Dr. Kissinger, Dr. Eric Schmidt of Google, and Dr. Dan Huttenlocher of MIT co-write their book, The Age of AI. In addition to DFC and Dr. Kissinger, she worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID); the State Department; and the Atlantic Council, where she helped establish their GeoTech Center. She is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a double graduate of Yale University (BA, MA), where she completed the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy and wrote her thesis under the advisement of General Stanley McChrystal.

Natalie Bosse leads ASF's advocacy, communications, media, and strategic engagements, including with the Executive and Legislative branches of the federal government. Prior to ASF, she led the public affairs and communication team for the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) for the Department of Defense (DoD). Previously, she served as a program management specialist for the Defense Digital Service (DDS), where she supported communications and recruitment. Prior to DDS, she served as Special Assistant to the Deputy Under Secretary of the Army, where she supported various complex policy goals set by the Secretary of the Army, including Army modernization, HQDA reorganization, and the Army Cloud Plan. She was awarded the Distinguished Public Service Medal by the Secretary of the Army. She earned her BA in Political Science from the University of Georgia.

Research Associate + JOSHUA Program Manager
Julia Senkfor
Julia Senkfor leads ASF's research and Jewish Online Safety, Health, and Unity Alliance (JOSHUA), the umbrella under which ASF organizes its work on AI-enabled antisemitism, AI-enabled disinformation, and other forms of AI misalignment and manipulation. She recently published a report examining antisemitism in large language models (LLMs), exposing that foreign entities are employing novel tactics to manipulate narratives and influence opinions through AI systems. Prior to ASF, she worked as the lead researcher and subject matter expert on Iran (including Iran’s nuclear program), Lebanon, Hezbollah, Yemen, and the Houthis at the American Israel Political Action Committee (AIPAC). She earned her BA in International Affairs and minors in Middle Eastern Studies and Legal Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
